Low Cost Mortgage Presentation to Campaign Prize Winners

Mr and Mrs. Peters, Ms Pamela Dass and Representatives from Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited

The presentation of prizes for the Low Cost Mortgage Campaign took place on June 2, 2010.

The Grand Prize winners Geralda and Thomas Peters won $1,000,000 towards their Republic Bank loan facility. Shellon Bovell, the prize winner for the month of February won a Samsung 32” LCD Television and Pamela Das, the prize winner for the month of March won a Panasonic Home Theatre System.

This marked the conclusion of a three month loan campaign which began on February 1, 2010 and ended on April 30, 2010. Customers who participated, benefited from reduced interest rates.

Courtney Benn Contracting Services Limited (CBCSL) on April 1, 2010 handed over a protective fencing around the Promenade Gardens lily pond at a simple ceremony at the Promenade Gardens, Waterloo Street, Georgetown.

The protective fencing was constructed and donated by Courtney Benn Contracting Services Limited in partnership with Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited. Through the Bank’s community outreach initiative - "The Power To Make A Difference" the rehabilitation of the Promenade Gardens has been an ongoing project for the citizens of Georgetown.
